Red, molten doubts
flowing with the orange of terror
run down her face and shine through
her eyes. She is the last one to hope
and the first to feel she shouldn’t.


She can still dare to do it.
If only just for today and tomorrow
and many of the tomorrows to come.

Blue water can follow,
washing the red and orange heat.
Blue as a deep lagoon,
cooling and healing...

 

 

 

 

                            

LIL ROSE   and   Rose

These are Lil Rose drawings as we found each other.

Stuck is the first one and Secret Mummy an early one.

Invisible is when Lil felt upset by the attention the others were getting as they came out,

and nobody could see her anymore as she was the first.

Stuck in the Muddle Mess with Emily was when we found Emily.

Stuck in the Muddle Mess with Everybody was when we found there were more.

Stove Light is one of the memories, still very clear,

of sitting for what seemed like hours in front of the stove.

There was a red stove light and I can still see the old lady and man who lived in there.

I am co conscious, when the light was on, they were home and when it was off they were asleep.

The purple hug drawing, also ours, is  Our Safe Place.

Stove Light and Safe Place belong to Rose; the others to Lil Rose.
